Do not bear a grudge in one’s heart towards his friend
“Do not bear any grudge” Vayikra 19:18
Bearing a grudge means harbouring hatred in his heart, for example he says to him-
“I will lend to you as I am not paying you back as you acted towards me, refusing to lend me something”
This is bearing a grudge where he has hatred his heart.
Rather he should lend it wholeheartedly and harbour no ill will whatsoever and purge this matter from his heart erasing all remembrance of this entirely.
Taking revenge and bearing a grudge are extremely bad qualities.
All matters and concerns of this world are vapid nonsense and trivial.
It is not worth taking revenge or bearing a grudge over them.
This applies is every place at all times for men and women.
