Do not be sexually intimate with your son’s daughter or the daughter of one’s daughter

 

 “You shall not uncover the nakedness of your son’s daughter or your daughter’s daughter,” Vayikra 18:10

 

The punishment over each one is death by burning.

If done wilfully but without witnesses, the penalty is spiritual severance.

If done unwittingly a sin offering is required.

 

The secondary sexual relations prohibited by the Scribes are

For the son’s daughter

• only the daughter of the son’s daughter and

• only the daughter of one’s son’s son

             For the daughter’s daughter

• only the daughter of one’s daughter

• only the daughter of one’s daughter’s son

 

This applies in all places at all times.
